Welding of pipe-/ fitting- elements is done via heat introduction by halfshelled
heating elements to the pipe-/ fitting- exterior surfaces.
At the same time a flexible pressure hull (called “bladder”) supports the inside
of the welding zone for the avoidance of a welding bead. The bladder is
pressed to the tubing inner wall with compressed air, so that the necessary
welding pressure is produced when the plastic melts. So a completely smooth
welding area is developed.
