18.5 Periodic
maintenance
We recommend going through an inspection at a certified Georg Fischer
Service or Maintenance Center after every 2500 fusions or after a period of 18
months.
After completing 2500 fusions or after
a period of 18 months, this service
message will appear on the display
every time the machine is switched on:
The fusion machine can, however, still
be used without any operational
limitations when the
ENTER button
has been pressed.
19 Check for the service status
In the service message menu, the user can view the number of remaining
fusions until inspection and/or the date of the next inspection.
1. Select Service message.
2. Press
ENTER button.
In this example, the next service is
recommended for 18.03.2010 or after
another 2463 fusions.
