18 Service and Maintenance
Always disconnect the BCF Plus fusion machine from the power supply before
performing any cleaning or repair work.
18.1 Periodic
maintenance
The BCF Plus fusion machine should be serviced every 2500 welds or 18
months of operation (compulsory interval). Otherwise it does not require any
particular maintenance when used properly. If working prevalently with one or
two heating station we recommend an inspection by an authorized service
center or sales company after every 1000 welds.
Standard maintenance is limited to regular external cleaning with a clean,
lint-free cloth.

Only use fuses with identical data.
Remove the fuses with a screwdriver and check with an ohmmeter. Do not
screw back into the machine housing without the fuse link or else the fuse
holder will get stuck (no spring effect).
