6.1.2 Using the IP Device Utility
The IP Device Utility provides a direct way to upgrade the firmware to
multiple units of the GV-IPCAM. Note the computer used to upgrade
firmware must be under the same network of the camera.
1. Install
GeoVision IP Device Utility
from the Software DVD, and
follow the onscreen instructions to install the program.
2. Double-click
the
IP Device Utility
icon created on your desktop. This
dialog box appears.

3. Click
the
Search
button to locate available cameras on the same LAN.
Or click the
New
button and assign the IP address to locate the
camera over the Internet. Or highlight one camera in the list and click
the
Delete
button to remove it.
