to set up the counter.
3. Draw two detection areas for object counting.
A. Select
Define Detection Zones
to define the detection area.
B. Use
the
Sensitivity
slider to increase or decrease the
detection sensitivity of the area you want to define in step 3C.
The sensitivity levels range from 1 to 10, with 8 as default. The
higher the level, the more sensitive the camera is to motion.

On the live view, outline a detection area. To draw an irregular
shape, drag one or more of the red dots that outline the box
until the line is in the shape that you want. See Figure 4-13.

Repeat steps 3A to 3D to draw the 2

detection area. Each
detection area is numbered.

To clear any defined area, click
under the image, and
click the X icon to remove it. Click
again to return to
the setting.
4. Select
Define Object Size
to define the size of the target object to be
detected.
A.
On the live view, outline an area matching 5% bigger than the
normal size of the target object. You can drag one or more of
the red dots that outline the area until the line is in the shape
that you want.
B. Click
Fix
to confirm your setting.
C.
Move the defined size of object to the place that will not
obstruct the live view.
5. Select the detection direction from 0 to 1, 0 to 1, or both in
Direction
Setting
. The object will be counted as 1 when moving through the
first detection area into the second area in the configured direction or
vice versa.
