5. On the live view, draw the detection area. To draw an irregular shape,
drag one or more of the red dots that outline the box until the line is in
the shape that you want. See Figure 4-13.
6. Click
Fix
to confirm your setting.
7. To draw a new detection area, repeat steps 4 to 5. You can draw up
to 4 areas.
8. To clear any defined area, click
under the image, and click
the X icon to remove it. Click
again to return to the setting.
9. To activate unattended object / missing object detection settings at
specific time periods each day, create a schedule. For details, see
Step 6 in
4.2.1 Motion Detection
.
10. Click
Apply
to save all the settings.
Note:
To allow the unattended object / missing object detection settings
to take effect, please wait for 2 minutes upon clicking the
Apply
button.
In GV-VMS, when the event is detected on the camera, you will see the log
“Advanced Unattended Object Detection” or “Advanced Missing Object
Detection” as illustrated below.
