1. Un snap the vi sor from the hel met in ac cor dance with Para graph 3-4.2.15, steps 1
and 2.
2. On the side of the hel met where the snap fas tener is to be re placed, re move the
earcup as sem bly.
3. Re move the hard ware at tach ing the snap fas tener to the hel met shell.
NOTE
Be fore re in stall ing screws, ap ply a small amount of RTV to the ends of
each screw.
4. Install the re place ment snap fas tener with the hard ware re moved pre vi ously.
5. Re in stall the earcup.
6. Re in stall the vi sors in ac cor dance with Para graph 3-4.2.15, steps 3-6.
7. Check hel met fit in ac cor dance with Para graph 2-2.
