5-4 Data Logging
The New Option
The New option enables you to set up the parameters for creation of a
new log. To do so, proceed as follows:
1.
Perform one of the following procedures:
•
In the Log Manager>File menu (see Figure 5-3 on the previous
page), scroll to the New option and press [ENTER] . Or,
•
In the Logging menu (see Figure 5-1 on page 5-1), scroll to the
New Log option and press [ENTER] .
2. When the Create New Log windows opens (see Figure 5-4 below),
start entering a name for the log by using the four arrow keys to
scroll to the desired character and pressing
[ENTER]
.

Repeat the above procedure until you have completed the log
name.
Note: At any time, you may press
[F1] (Delete)
to remove the last
character entered.
4.
When you have finished, press
[F3] (OK)
to accept the name, or
press [F2] (Cancel) to leave the window without creating a new log.
If you pressed
[F3]
above, the General tab of the log configuration
window opens (see Figure 5-5 on the next page). Continue on the next
page to enter the parameters for the new log.
