Data Logging
The Log Manager
Window
The
Log Manager
is the tool that is used to perform a variety of
operations on logs and log files. To access the
Log Manager
, proceed
as follows:
1.
Access the
Log Menu
, as described on the previous page.
2.
With the
Log Menu
highlighted, scroll to the
Manager
option and
press
[ENTER]
. A screen similar to Figure 5-2 below appears.

The box on the left site of the
Log Manager
window lists all of the
logs currently in the PT878 memory. You can use the [
T
] and [
S
]
arrow keys to scroll through this list. The right section of the window
shows information for the highlighted log.
IMPORTANT:
Logs are associated with the site in use at the time the
log is created. By default, the
Log Manager
lists only
the logs for the current site.
The Log Manager Menu
To open the
Log Manager
menu, proceed as follows:
1.
At the
Log Manager
window, press
[MENU]
and then
[ENTER]
.
2.
Use the arrow keys to scroll through the menus and menu options
until the desired menu option is highlighted.
3.
Press
[ENTER]
to open the menu.
Proceed to the appropriate section for instructions on specific menus.
