HMI : Human/Machine Interface
Host Computer : IBM PC (or compatible) connected remotely to a Hydran 201 i System
and running the Hydran Host software
Hourly Trend : Variation of gas level during an adjustable period of time calculated in
hours
Hydran 201Ci : Any of the controllers from the Hydran family of products:
Hydran 201C i -1 or Hydran 201C i -C. Abbreviated to H201C i .
Hydran 201Ci-1 : One-channel controller designed to supervise one Hydran 201T i and
link it to a host computer running the Hydran Host software. This configuration is referred
to as Hydran 201R Model
i . Abbreviated to H201C i -1.
Hydran 201Ci-C : Communications controller designed to supervise up to four
Hydran 201T i ’s. The Hydran 201C i -C does not have a numerical display, analog outputs
or alarm contacts; it is meant only as an interface between the Hydran 201T i ’s and the host
computer running the Hydran Host software. Abbreviated to H201C i -C.
Hydran 201i System : Continuous, on-line, combustible gas-in-oil monitor, taking the
form of either a Hydran 201T i used alone or the combination of at least one Hydran 201T i
and a Hydran 201C i Controller
Hydran 201R Model i : Specific configuration of Hydran 201 i System, which consists of
one Hydran 201T i linked to a Hydran 201C i -1. This combination has been designed to
replace or complete an existing installation of Hydran 201R (previous generation of
transformer incipient fault monitor).
Hydran 201 Sensor : Electrochemical gas detector used in the Hydran 201T i to detect and
measure a composite value of four dissolved gases in transformer oil
Hydran 201Ti : Intelligent transmitter, an apparatus that uses an electrochemical gas
detector to detect and measure a composite value of four dissolved gases in transformer oil.
