Maintenance: Electrical Safety Tests
Dielectric (Hi-Pot) Tests
CAUTION
POWER OFF—Turn off the monitor prior to performing any of
the hi-pot tests.
Patient–to–AC-Line Using DC Voltage for 1 Minute
Connect the monitor to the hi-pot tester as shown on in the figure below.
NOTE:
The hi-pot tester voltage is 5.656 kVdc.

FECG: Connect an FECG test body to the monitor’s front panel

The FECG test body can be the assembly leakage cable. Measure the voltage
breakdown.
