Upper figure:
Put the motor carrier on the motor and tighten the four screw (2 x M3x6 and 2x M3x10) so that the motor can still be pushed
back and forth on the carrier.
Then install the motor pinion on the motor shaft and fasten the pinion with two grub screws M3x3. The pinion position on
the motor shaft must be selected so that it does not protrude over the main pinion at the top or bottom later.
Lower figure:
Insert the motor in the chasses according to the sketch and screw the motor carrier to the chassis with six M3x6 screws. Use
two cylinder-head screws on either side and two countersunk screws on the top.
To set the tooth backlash, push a narrow paper strip between the motor pinion and the gear pinion, push the motor towards
the gear and screw the motor to the motor carrier from below. Then remove the paper strip again.
If set correctly, the two pinions will securely interlock without catching or without showing too much play.
Practical advice:
Since it is not possible to reach all four motor attachment screws when the motor is installed, it is practical to only
fasten the motor carrier with the motor in the mechanics as first. After setting tooth backlash, it is sufficient to
fasten the motor using the screws that are accessible from the bottom.
Then the motor carrier and motor can be removed again and all four motor screws can be tightened. Finally, the
motor carrier can be placed in the mechanics again and screwed on tightly.
The motor connection lines are guided downwards to the speed controller on the chassis outside and connected there.

Upper figure:
First push the swash plate onto the rotor shaft according to the figure.
Then place the rotor head onto the rotor shaft and attach it with the screw M3x32 together with the two swash plate
tappets. Observe correct alignment of the washers and ball bearings.
Important!
When installing the two blade holder linkage levers and linkage balls, observe force-locking and well-secured
screw connections.
Lower figure:
Install the two linkage rods according to the sketch at the top right of the figure. After
installation of the linkage rods and connection of the swash plate tappets, the swash plate, swash plate tappets and blade
holder linkage rods must be aligned in parallel in case of correct build (see small sketch or page 15).

Upper figure:
The pre-assembled tail rotor is pushed onto the tail rotor shaft with the sliding sleeve according to the sketch and attached
with two grub screws M3x3. Observe that the two grub screws catch in the respective outer indentations of the tail rotor
shaft.
Verify the function of the tail rotor linkage after completion of the tail rotor unit. All components must work smoothly but
must not have any play in their bearings.
Important!
Tighten the screws for the tail rotor blades only enough for the rotor blades to still cleanly align at a 180° to each
other in flight.
