Modem Quick Start
The Gardtec 872 control panel may be programmed on site via the keypad or via
Gardtec Remote Software. In order to program the panel via Gardtec Remote the
communications needs to be initialised.
Note
:
Using this method will default any previously programmed settings.
1)
Remove all power from the control panel
2)
Apply the mains power.
3)
Whilst the display is showing the start-up display
for example
Enter 5 5 YES NO at the keypad
4)
The display will show
For up to 1 minute
5)
Connect the Digi Modem to SK3 and on the Digi Modem terminals A5 & B2 to
a suitable telephone outlet.
6)
The control panel is now ready to accept a call from
Gardtec Remote.
Or
Digi / Modem Set-Up
1)
With the the control panel unset
Display showing.
2)
Enter the engineer code (1234 default) followed by
YES. Display will show.
