Setting the timeout
If a user establishes a connection with
HardBoot view
to a
HardBoot
system, the sys-
tem is locked for other users.
To make the
HardBoot
system also available for other users, the software sets the
user‘s time of inactivity. If the user is inactive for 120 seconds (default setting), the
software initiates an automatic termination.
You can adjust the preset time interval of 120 seconds to your needs.
How to change the preset timeout:
1. End the software
HardBoot view
.
2. Open the file
HbView.INI
in the program directory of
HardBoot view
with any text
editor.
3. The setting
IdleTimeout
can be found in the paragraph
[System]
. The preset value
of the setting is
120
(120 seconds or 2 minutes).
4. Enter your desired time interval in terms of seconds.
5. Save the document and end the text editor.
