Ending the software
HardBoot view
The user can end the software at any time, while the power outlet overview is displayed.
If the software detects that the user has been inactive for 120 seconds (time-out), a
display window appears. This window advises the user of the impending disconnec-
tion. If the user does not react to that, the connection is disconnected after 15 sec-
onds.
How to end the software manually:
1.
Requirement:
Ending the software is only possible if the overview of the power
outlets is displayed. If a window is opened within the software, it has to be closed
and you can return to the power outlet overview.
2. Click the
Close (Beenden)
button in the
File (Datei)
menu.
3. Confirm the appearing saftey query by pressing the
Yes (Ja)
button.
How to end the software after the time interval of inactivity has expired:
If the software has not been used in the preset time interval of inactivity (default:
120 seconds), the following dialogue appaers:
If you want to continue the session with the software

, press the
Con-
tinue
HardBoot view (HardBoot view fortsetzen)
button.
Otherwise the software can be ended manually by pressing the
Close immediately
(
Sofort beenden)
button.
After the expiration of the time span (15 seconds) shown in the lower area of the
window, the software is ended automatically if no input is being made.
The default settings of the software preset a time-out of 120 seconds. The chapter
“Setting the timeout” on page
28 describes how to change this setting.
