Safety guidelines
Please read the following safety guidelines attentively before you start running the
G&D product. The guidelines help to avoid damage to the product and prevent pos-
sible violations.
Inform all persons that use this equipment in detail about these safety guidelines.
Observe all warnings or operating instructions put on the device or stated in this
operating guide.

Check that the power cords, plugs and sockets are in good condition.

The
HardBoot
devices can only be connected to three-wire 230 VAC (50-60 Hz)
sockets.
,
Always plug the the
HardBoot
devices into properly grounded power sockets
(two poles plus ground).
,
The power outlets of the
HardBoot
devices are
not
circuit breakers! If you want to
intervene on equipments connected to the
HardBoot
devices you must disconnect
these equipments from the
HardBoot
devices.
,
The
HardBoot
devices are designed to be installed on a dedicated circuit that
must have a circuit breaker or fuse protection.
,
Do
not
attempt to disassemble the
HardBoot
devices, they contain potentially
hazardous voltages.

Never exceed 10 amp total load for each group of 4 (four) power outlets of the
HardBoot plus
or the
HardBoot CCX
.
!
The electrical power sockets used to plug the power cords of the
HardBoot
devices must be close to the devices and easily accessible.

The
HardBoot
devices are intended for indorr use only. Do
not
install them in an
area where excessive moisture or heat is present.
!
Always disconnect the 2 (two) power cords of both the
HardBoot plus
and the
HardBootCCX
if you want to intervene on the
HardBoot
devices or on the equip-
ment powered from the the
HardBoot
devices.

The
HardBoot
devices contain no user servicable parts and repairs are to be per-
formed by factory trained service personnel only.
!
Always use shielded twisted pair cable for the ethernet connection.
