Operating with
HardBoot view
The
HardBoot
system can be comfortably operated with the software
HardBoot view
.
Through the local network, the software establishes a connection with the
HardBoot
system and enables the switching of single power outlets.
Furthermore, the power outlets can be grouped in the graphical interface. Each group can
consist of a maximum of three power outlets that can be switched at the same time. It is,
for example, possible to reliably disconnect the power supply of a computer with redun-
dant power supply.
To have a proper overview of the individual power outlets at all time, their names
can be changed individually.
After the software has been installed (see “Installing the software HardBoot view”
on page
7), the
HardBoot
system can be comfortably operated with the software.
Starting the software
To start the software, double click the file
HbView.exe
on the hard drive. If you have
created a desktop link, doule click it.
After the software has been started, the graphical user interface of the software
appears:
