OVERVIEW
Detector Test, Walk Test and Bypass mode can be selected at any time from the
Password Protected - Access Level 3. Detector Test is accessed by pressing the
Detector Test key, Walk Test by pressing the Walk Test key, and Bypass by
pressing the Bypass key.

Detector Test
The detector test function allows the user to individually test the functionality of
each device, operation and response.
Device LED will illuminate if selected for Detector Test. The LED will turn off
when the device is deselected.
1. From the Operational Mode, press the key marked ‘Test’.
2. Press " Enter ". Figure T2 is now displayed.

3. Select the circuit of the device to be monitored. Use circuit select switches located on the
zone display for the analog loop being tested. The LED of the selected circuit illuminates.
Figure T3 is now displayed.

4. Use the up/down arrow keys to scroll through the connected devices. When the device
address is selected, the device type and real time analog value will be displayed
automatically.
5. Determine the functionality and operating response of the Detector using the following table.
6. To exit the Detector Test Mode press the Enter key at any time.
