SPARC Enterprise T5120 and T5220 Servers Product Notes • April 2010
The SPARC Enterprise T5120/T5220 servers require physical access from the top for
maintenance. Therefore, a stepladder may be required depending on which rack the
server is installed in. And it may be necessary to remove the server from the rack
depending on the component to be replaced.
The minimum clearance for service access varies depending on whether a stepladder
is used. Secure an appropriate clearance for service access before starting
maintenance.
This section shows the minimum clearance for service access premised on the
standard maintenance work of our company. If this minimum clearance cannot be
secured, contact our field engineer.
No stepladder is required if this server is installed at the 20U level or lower. A
stepladder is required if it is installed at the 21U level or higher.

minimum clearance for service access required for either server.
