DASD
A hard disk drive has failed
or has been removed.
The error LED on the
failing hard disk drive
is also lit.
Ê
Reinstall the removed drive.
Ê
If an individual HDD LED is lit,
replace the HDD (see
page 106).
Ê
If problem persists, call for
service.
RAID
The RAID adapter has indi-
cated a fault.
Ê
See the BMC log and the
system-error log (see
“Event/Error Logs” on page 61).
NONRED
The server is operating with
non-redundant power. If a
power supply or its AC
power source fails, the sys-
tem will be over spec.
The LOG LED might
also be lit.
Ê
If the PS LED on the LED card
is lit, follow the instructions for
that LED.
Ê
Replace the failing power
supply (see page 110).
Ê
Remove optional devices.
Ê
Use 220 V AC instead of 110 V
AC.
TEMP
A system temperature or
component has exceeded
specifications.
A fan LED might also
be lit.
Ê
See the BMC log and the
system-error log (see
“Event/Error Logs” on page 61).
Ê
Make sure that the airflow of the
server is not blocked.
Ê
If a fan LED is lit, reseat the fan.
Replace the fan for which the
LED is lit (see page 112).
Ê
Make sure that the room is
neither too hot nor too cold (see
“Technical Data” on page 14).
If one of the VRDs indicates
“hot,” AC power must be
removed before DC power
can be restored.
