Indications on Function Number Display

Displayed when the scanner is turned on.
P
Indicates that the initialization is in process after the scanner
is turned on.
0
Indicates that the initialization is in process and is near the
end of process after the scanner is turned on.
1
Ready to start scanning.
Indicates that the initialization was successfully completed
after the scanner is turned on.
This status is referred to as "ready status".
Function
number

Flashing
After multifeed is detected, the function number flashes.
This indicates that the process to determine whether or not
to memorize the overlap pattern is in progress.

Flashing
Indicates that the ADF is opened in ready status.
In this case, the LED indicator also flashes.
When the ADF is closed, the display returns to the ready
status ("1").
For details about how to close the ADF, refer to
Opening/Closing the ADF" (page 21)
If the display does not return to the ready status ("1") even
after the ADF is closed, turn the power off then back on. If
the problem still persists, contact your FUJITSU scanner
dealer or an authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider.

Flashing
Indicates that the [Send to] button was pressed to pause the
scan.
Press the [Scan/Stop] button to resume the paused scan.

Indicates that a temporary error occurred during scanning.
The letter "J" or "U" and an error code appear alternately.
For more details about the errors, refer to

Press the [Scan/Stop] button or the [Send to] button in this
status to return to the ready status ("1").

Indicates that a device error (alarm) occurred during
initialization or scanning.
The letter "E", "C", "H" or "L" and an alarm number appear
alternately.
For more details about the errors, refer to

When this alarm occurs, turn the power off then back on. If
the problem still persists, contact your FUJITSU scanner
dealer or an authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider.
