[Displaying the firmware version]
If a firmware upgrade is required, separate instructions will
be provided.
Check the details and then press the [Enter] key to proceed.
* If the camera's firmware is an older version than the
firmware in the adjustment software, the window shown on
the right appears. Check the details and then press the
[Enter] key to proceed.
<Step 8>
[Adjustment item select screen]
(1) A firmware download may require other adjustments
depending on the firmware version downloaded. If you
download firmware, separate instructions will be provided
for the adjustments required when the firmware is
upgraded.
(2) When you have launched the adjustment software and
exchanged data with the camera, you must carry out End
Setting as the final step before returning the camera to
the customer.
If you omit End Setting, the camera remains in JIG mode
(camera repair mode) and will not be recognized by the
PC (as a PTP or Mass Storage device) when the
customer connects the camera to a PC in normal
operation.
(3) Pressing the [X]:Restart key interrupts the adjustment
software. After the "OK" screen display, returns you to
the [Adjustment Software Start-up Screen].
(When adjust the same camera again, switch camera
power off once, and please switch camera power on with
a jig mode again.)
However, the camera will not be recognized as a PTP or
Mass Storage device.
(Press the [X] key while the camera is in communication
with the PC. If you press the [X] key while the camera is
disconnected, the [Adjustment Software Start-up Screen]
may be slow to reappear and an error may appear in the
adjustment software.)
* If the camera's firmware is an older version than the
firmware in the adjustment software, the "Firmware is not
latest version" message appears in red in the top-left corner
of the window.
If the firmware is the latest version (or the same as the
adjustment software version), "Firmware is latest version" is
displayed in blue.
