8 Manual focus check P mode (1) Set the manual focus(MF) mode.
(2) Turn the focus ring.
(3) Set the AF-S mode. (1) Select the MF of a MF/S-AF/C-AF
changeover switch.
(2) Focus change.
(3) MF indication disappear.
9 External Flash
operation check
P mode (1) Set the tester’s + probe on the flash
hot shoe X contacts and the
tester's – probe on the flash hot shoe
GND contact.
(2) Press the shutter button to take a
Picture.
(3) Turn the External Flash on.
(4) Connect the camera to the External
Flash with the synchronization code.
(5) Press the shutter button to take a
Picture.
(6) Disconnect the synchronization
code from camera.
(7) Turn the External Flash off.
(2) Thing which does decrease change by
resistance momentarily, and returns to
origin immediately.
(5) An External Flash emits light.
10 Movie/audio
recording check
Movie mode (1) Set the MOVIE mode.
(2) Press shutter button.
(3) After 5 seconds, press shutter
button.
(4) Set the STILL IMAGE mode.
(2) Check that movie/audio recording
begins. Check that
“ REC ” appears
on the LCD monitor.
(3) Check that movie/audio recording
ends and that the data is recorded
on the SD card.
11 Movie/audio
playback check
Playback (1) Set the camera to Playback mode.
(2) Press the 4-way button (down) to
play back the movie.
(2) Check that the movie is played back
on the LCD monitor.
Check that the sound is played back
through the speaker.
12 Playback check Playback (1) Plug the HDMI CABLE into the
camera.
(2) Check images shot at macro
resolutions (manual photography).
(3) Check images shot at Rotate image
(manual photography).
(4) Disconnect the HDMI CABLE from
the camera. (1) The LCD displays should switch off,
and the indicator lamp should light
up in green.
(2) Where the horizontal resolution is as
follows:
350 TV lines or better at the center
and 300 TV lines or better at the
periphery (NTSC).
300 TV lines or better at the center
and 250 TV lines or better at the
periphery (PAL).
(3) Direction of rotate image have to
correct.
13 PC connection
checking
- (1)Connect the camera to the PC with
the USB/AV CABLE.
(2) Copy the image files in the camera
to a folder on the PC.
(3) Disconnect the USB/AV CABLE from
the camera. (1) Check that the PC recognizes the
camera over a PTP connection.
(2) Check that the image files have
