4. Adjustment

<Step 4>
When AF adjustment (INF) is completed normally,
[AF
Adjustment (600mm) Start Screen (Fig.24)]
is displayed.
Follow the instructions and make the following prepara-
tions.
(1) Adjust the distance between the camera and the AF
chart to 620±5mm.
(2) Remove 600mm conversion lens from the lens front.
(3) Adjust so that the center of the AF chart displayed on
the camera LCD monitor is displayed on the center
of the LCD monitor.
When preparations are complete, press the [Enter] key
on the computer.
---> AF adjustment (600mm) begins.
---> When AF adjustment (600mm) is completed normally,
backlash is checked automatically, the 200mm fixed
value is saved, and the 800mm calculation continues.
---> Save the adjusted data to the flash ROM when adjust-
ment is completed normally.
<Step 5>
When the adjusted data is saved normally, the
[AF Ad-
justment Complete Screen (Fig.24-1)]
is displayed.
Press the [Enter] key on the computer while in the [AF
Adjustment Complete Screen (Fig.24)].
---> The
[Adjustment Select Screen (Fig.4)]
is displayed.
Select and make any further adjustments from the
screen.
