4-1. Adjustments After Replacing Major Components
Make the adjustments noted by ‘O’ below after replacing the MAIN PWB ASSY, DC PWB UNIT, LENS CONST, or MODE
ST UNIT. No adjustments are required after replacing other units.

Make all adjustments after replacing the above parts.
* As the CCD defect data floppy disk is supplied only with the LENS CONST (CCD) it cannot be supplied with the
MAIN PWB ASSY which is supplied as a service part.
When the MAIN PWB ASSY is replaced, CCD defect correction adjustment should be conducted in accordance with
the repair and adjustment procedure described below.
(1) Note the serial number on the back of the CCD (IC11) mounted on the LENS CONST on the camera to be repaired.
(2) Find the CCD defect data for the serial number in the CCD defect data file, and copy that data to the floppy disk.
(3) Use this floppy disk for CCD defect correction adjustment.
(note) As with previous models, the flash ROM (IC208) on the MAIN PWB ASSY of the FinePix F601 is a CSP IC and
cannot be easily removed.
