Resetting to Factory Defaults
After executing
Initialize NVM
and rebooting the printer, the menu parameters or data are reset to their factory
default values.
NOTE:
•
The following procedure does not initialize the network settings.

To initialize the network settings, refer to "Initialize NVM" on page 169.

To reset the wireless connection settings, refer to "Reset Wireless" on page 168.

Press the
System
button.

Select
Admin Menu
, and then press the
button.

Select
Maintenance
, and then press the
button.

Select
Initialize NVM
, and then press the
button.

To initialize the menu parameters, select
System Section
, and then press the
button.
To initialize the Address Book data for e-mail and server address, select
User Scan Section
, and then
press the
button.

Select
Yes
, and then press the
button.
The printer restarts automatically to apply the settings.
