through to memory, the cache performs a bus cycle on the internal bus and correspondingly on the external 
bus.

The device does not implement bus snooping; cache coherency with other possible bus masters must be 
maintained in software.

5.2

Memory Map/Register Definition

This section describes the implementation of the cache registers.

5.2.1

Cache Control Register (CACR)

The CACR register contains bits for configuring the cache. It can be written by the MOVEC register 
instruction and can be read or written from the debug facility. A hardware reset clears CACR, which 
disables the cache; however, reset does not affect the tags, state information, or data in the cache.
