Power Supplies AC
AC OK
Green (steady)
The power supply is
receiving AC power
from an AC power
source.
Off
The power supply is not receiving
power from an AC power source
You can do the following:
•
Make sure that the power
supply cord is connected
securely to the wall outlet and
the power supply.
•
Make sure that the wall outlet
is rated for 115/120V and
20A. If it is not, obtain a cable
that is compatibly rated for the
outlet.
•
Make sure that the wall outlet
has power.
DC OK
Green (steady)
The power supply is
providing DC power to
the NetIron MLX
Series chassis.
Off
The power supply is not supplying
power to the chassis. If the AC OK
LED is lit Green, then there is a
problem with the power supply and
it must be replaced.
ALM
ALM
The power supply is in
normal operating
condition.
Amber
The power supply is
malfunctioning.
Power Supplies DC
DC IN
Green (steady)
The power supply is
receiving DC power
from a DC power
source.
Off
The power supply is not receiving
power from a DC power source
You can do the following:
•
Make sure that the power
supply cables are connected
securely to the power source
and the power supply.
•
Make sure that the DC power
source for MLX -4, -8, and -16
is 48 VDC @ 30 A. The DC
power source for MLX-32 is
48 VDC @60A. The operating
voltage range is 40 to 60
VDC.
•
Make sure that the power
source has power.
DC OUT
Green (steady)
The power supply is
providing DC power to
the NetIron MLX
Series chassis.
Off
The power supply is not supplying
power to the chassis. If the DC IN
LED is lit Green, then there is a
problem with the power supply and
it must be replaced.
