Picture Adjust: FullScn
The FullScn selection is used to cancel any zoom and pan settings and immediately restore the output to the full
screen setting.
Sharpness
Selecting the sharpness control by highlighting Sharp and pressing SEL displays a menu similar to the following.
Press + or - to see the effects of the currently selected setting on the output NTSC/PAL video monitor. Off disables
the sharpness filter on the analog output encoder. 1 is the softest setting; 12 is the sharpest. This control does not
affect the digital output (SDI/D1 if installed). Press SEL to keep the current setting or press ESC to cancel any
changes and return to the Main Menu. Use this control along with the flicker filter setting to achieve the best output.

System Configuration Menu
The System Setup Menu is used to access the following system control features:

RS-232 configuration and baud rate setup
·
Display the system firmware version number.
·
Access the system diagnostic control menu
·
Clear the system memory configuration to its factory default state.

System Configuration: RS-232 Port
This menu allows the baud rate to be set for the RS-232 serial port. The other port data properties are fixed at NO
PARITY, 8 DATA BITS, and 1 STOP BIT. Use the + and – buttons to set the desired baud rate and press SEL. The
display will change to show the current baud rate. The RS-232 port located on the upper DB-9 connector on the rear
of the SmartView.
System Configuration: Version
This menu selection displays the current firmware version number. This information is helpful when contacting
customer service.
