Removing the Main PCA 3-21.

Use
the following
steps
to
gain access to the 9132A Main PCA:
1.

Check that power to
the Pod is OFF.
Open the back panel of the Pod
by
turning the
thumbscrews
on
each
side counterclockwise.
Pull
the panel out from
the
case until
the
panel
reaches the
stop.
Press down
on the
center back of the main PCA
shield to release the safety detent, and
pull
the panel free of
the case.
Remove
the
flat self test cable from the front of the Main PCA
(opposite
the
rear panel).
Remove
any
RAM Modules, ROM Module cables, and the Pod cable
from the Main PCA
(to
gain access to the screws holding the Main
PCA
to
the panel).
Remove the Personality Module
by
pulling
up on
the fasteners on the
back of the module. Pull the Personality Module from its connector
on
the Main
PCA.
Remove the shield from
the
top of the Main PCA by
carefully pulling
the press-fit standoffs
away
from the board.
Remove the three Phillips screws near the
back
panel and the one
Phillips screw from the
front of
the
Main
PCA.
