Open the Pod self test drawer (if necessary, slide the
main board
sideways to allow enough cable length
for
the drawer to open
completely).
5.
Remove the regular Personality Module,
and replace it with the Test
Personality Module.
6. Make sure
no
ROMs
are
plugged into the ZIF socket
on
the ROM
Module(s).
7.
Plug the Extender Board into
the test connector
on
the rear of the Pod
main board
(as
shown
in Figure
3-7).
Install the test jumper
(J4) on
bey extender
board,
and plug
the
UUT cable from the 68000 Pod into
the
socket.

Connect the 9132A Pod cable to the power
supply.
9.
Tape down the power interlock switch on
the 9132A main board.
Running
the
9132A
Service Test 3-19.
Before running the 9132A Service Test, you must load the test software
onto the Mainframe hard disk (or EDISK), or set up
the floppy disk
as
the
userdisk (see the 9100 Series Technical User’s Manual
for details).
Once the test software is
loaded onto the system, press EXEC on the
Mainframe keypad. Enter 9132A
as
the UUT name and
TST
as
the program
name. Press ENTER/YES.
The Service Test program menu (shown in
Figure 3-8) is
displayed on the
monitor screen. To select
any
of the
tests,
either use
the up or down arrows
on the Mainframe keypad to
highlight the test to be run and press
ENTER/YES, or select the number of the test to be
run
(i.e.,
pressing “4”
automatically runs the Sync Module Test).
