Vacuum/low pressure operation
The CPA valve terminal can be operated with vacuum
or low pressure >-0.9 to < 3 bar under the following
conditions:
– regulated auxiliary pilot air must be supplied sepa-
rately
– the CPA valve terminal must be fitted with the
following valve plates:
-5/2-way valve, single solenoid (type M)
-5/2-way valve, double solenoid (type J)
-5/3-way valve, pressurized in mid-position (type B),
blocked (type G) or exhausted (type E)
PLEASE NOTE
Valve plates with 3/2-way valves (types N, K or H)
cannot be operated with vacuum or low pressure. If
your CPA valve terminal is also fitted with these
valve plates, a separate pressure zone must be
provided for these valves (see Fig. 3/3 for CPA14).
