A.5.1
Installing and removing optional modules
Caution
Damage to components.
Switch off the operating voltage supply to the central module
before inserting or removing optional modules.
Caution
Inappropriate handling can result in damage to the modules.
Do not touch any components.
Observe the handling specifications for electrostatic sensitive
devices.
To protect the components against discharges of static electric-
ity, discharge yourself of static electricity before installing or
removing modules.
The plug-in slots on the central module are intended for the following optional modules:

Installing an optional module
1.
Switch off the operating and load voltage supplies.
2.
Remove the blanking plate from the appropriate plug-in slot.
3.
Carefully push the module in the correct orientation (interface designation on the right
side) into the permissible plug-in slot until the mounting levers engage.
