Operating states
Further information on the operating behaviour of the diagnostic
controller can be found in the system description for the diagnostic
module.
The controller has the following operating states:

INIT
In the INIT operating status, the user application and
viewer are not yet loaded and the sending of process
data is stopped. This status is normally only passed
through during start-up. Start-up is stopped in INIT
status if:

a serious system error occurs (e.g. hardware error),
−
the CTRL key is pressed immediately before the INIT
status.

Clear retain memory

Generate report files

Restart
STOP
In the STOP operating status:

The application program (IEC project)

is loaded,
but is not yet being processed.

The exchange of process data is started. The output
data is set to zero (digital and analogue outputs 0
V).

The inputs of other I/O modules are not accepted.

RUN
In the RUN operating status:

The application programs (IEC project)
