Product version of the controller CECX-K-D1
The diagnostic module undertakes status monitoring of a pneumatic system for early de-
tection of malfunctions. As part of this process, pressure and flow rate values are continu-
ously recorded and the cycle consumption calculated. These values are compared with
stored reference values. Values exceeding the tolerance range are immediately signalled.
To construct a diagnostic module, you will need the following:
Component
Description
Controller CECX-K-D1
The diagnostic controller controls the diagnostic module (Festo Energy Moni-
toring).
Sensors (flow rate and
pressure)
Sensors record the measured variables and send them as measurement data
to the controller, which processes and makes available the data.
Visualisation (Front End
Display FED or VIPWIN)
The visualisation system or the Front End Display displays and archives the
diagnostic data. It can also be used to change the parameters of the diagnostic
module.
Festo Configuration Tool
with GFDM plug-in
Software for configuring, parameterising and commissioning the diagnostic
module.
