Safety information
The documentation contains the information needed to assemble the controller CECX-K-
D1.
Knowledge and proper implementation of the information contained in the documentation
is a prerequisite for successful planning and safe installation, commissioning and mainte-
nance of control systems. Only qualified personnel have the necessary expert knowledge
to be able to correctly interpret and implement the instructions contained in these docu-
ments.
The documentation cannot take into account every conceivable application. Should you
require further information, please request it from your local Festo branch.
Follow the accompanying documentation for your diagnostic module when performing
installation, commissioning and maintenance.

. These are people who have perti-
nent knowledge in the sphere of automation technology appropriate to their area of activ-
ity.
Safety information on handling
The modules used in the system are sensitive to electrostatic discharge in dismantled
condition.
Caution
Intervention in the device by unqualified people can cause the ma-
chine/system to malfunction as well as bodily injury or damage to
property.
Make sure that only qualified personnel intervene in the device.
Protect all modules with front power supply using a fuse in se-
ries. This fuse must not exceed 10 A under any circumstances.
Caution
Inappropriate handling can result in damage to the modules.
Do not touch any components.
Observe the handling specifications for electrostatic sensitive
devices.
To protect the components against discharges of static electric-
ity, discharge yourself of static electricity before installing or
removing modules.
