3.4.1
Connecting the operating voltage
Caution
Damage to components.
Realise the load supply and the operating voltage supply as a
limited-power circuit as per IEC/DIN EN61131−2 or always en-
sure fuse protection of 10 A (see graphics "Block circuit dia-
grams for supplying the +24V supply").
The operating voltage for supplying the internal electronics of the installed modules (pe-
ripheral and optional modules) is supplied via the central module. The central module
converts the supplied operating voltage into the necessary internal operating voltages.
These are forwarded to the installed modules via the bus plug.
The operating voltage connection is reverse-polarity protected within the permissible op-
erating voltage range.
