Normal pitch Whitworth thread: B.S.W. (W)
The threads must be defined in mm or inches. For example, to define a Whitworth thread with a 1/16
pitch, enter 1.5875 mm or 0.0625 inches.
The CNC calculates the pitch and the depth with the formulae:
Pitch in mm = 25.4 / number of edges
Pitch in inches = 1 / number of edges
Depth in internal threads = 0.6403 x Pitch
Depth in external threads = 0.6403 x Pitch
