Graphic representation
The operating manual, T model, "Graphics" section of the "Execution / Simulation" chapter describes
how to use the graphics display. However, here is a brief description of the softkeys.
Type of graphic
The graphics may be "X-Z", "X-C", "Z-C", "Solid X-Z ", "Solid X-C" or "Solid Z-C".
The "X-Z", "X-C" and "Z-C" graphics are line graphics that describe the tool tip movement with color
lines.
The graphics start from a three-dimensional block and the tool removes material during the
execution or simulation showing the shape of the resulting part.
Display area
With this option it is possible to re-define the display area by defining the maximum and minimum
values for each axis.
Use the [
][
] keys to select the maximum and minimum values. Once all the data has been defined,
press [ENTER].
When selecting a new display area, the CNC clears the screen and shows the axes or the part
unmachined.
Zoom
With this option, it is possible to enlarge or reduce the graphics display area.
It shows a window superimposed on the current graphics and another one over the drawing at the
lower right-hand side of the screen. These new windows indicate the new display area being
selected.
Use the [
][
][
][
] keys to move the window around, the softkeys "ZOOM+" "ZOOM-" to enlarge
or shrink its size and press [ENTER] for those new values to be assumed.
Every time a new display area is selected, the CNC keeps the current graphic representation. It does
not delete it.
When the [GRAPHICS] key is pressed, the CNC displays the graphic representation
page of the T model. To exit the graphic representation mode, press the [GRAPHICS]
key or the [ESC] key.
During simulation, the top center window shows the number of the program and the
number of the cycle being executed. However, when detecting an RPT or GOTO
instruction, the cycle number will disappear.
XZ, XC, ZC
They draw the part in the selected plane.
SOLID
It shows a three-dimensional block that will be "machined" as the part-program
is being run.
The display area cannot be changed while executing or simulating the part. If it is,
interrupt the execution or simulation by pressing the [STOP] key.
When pressing [START] to resume or re-start the execution or simulation, it deletes the
current graphic representation and starts a new one with the new values.
The zoom function cannot be used while executing or simulating the part. If it is, interrupt
the execution or simulation by pressing the [STOP] key.
