To change one of these values, place the cursor on the corresponding data, key in the desired value
and press [ENTER].
The value of the safety distance on X is always defined in radius.
Spindle angular position.
In the thread repair cycle, this parameter indicates the angular position of the spindle at the root
(valley) and must be programmed together with the "Z coordinate of the valley (root)" as described
later on.
On the rest of the levels, programming this data is optional and it indicates the angular position of
the spindle or angle with respect to the reference mark where the threading must begin. It permits
making multiple-entry threads without bringing the starting point back.
Depth of the successive threading passes (
).
For the level 1 threading cycle, the depth of each pass depends on the corresponding pass number
(
,
2,
3,
4, etc.).
To select whether the entry angle must be defined or not, place the cursor over this icon
and press the two-color key.
Threading without programming the entry angle.
Threading programming the entry angle.
The
data sets the maximum penetration pass and the following icons define how the
successive machining passes are run. To select the type of pass depth, place the cursor
over this icon and press the two-color key.
The depth of each pass will depend on the number of the corresponding pass. The
penetrations are
,
2,
3,
4, etc.
If the penetration increment (different between penetrations) calculated by the CNC is
smaller than the minimum penetration increment, the CNC assumes this last value.
The penetration increment is kept constant between passes with a value equal to the one
programmed
.
