Test Summary
Clock Configuration
Note: Clock Mode is only available when the test is not started. External and
Backplane clock modes are not available with the OTU1e, OTU2e, OTU1f,
and OTU2f interfaces.
Clock Mode
allows the clock source selection that will be used for the test.
Internal : Internal clock of the unit (STRATUM 3).
External
: Clock from the connected DS1/E1/2M external clock signal
(AUX-BNC port). Refer to Clock Synchronization - RX on page 374 to
complete the external clock settings.
Recovered : Clock from the test optical/electrical port input signal.
Recovered is the only choice available when the
Test Mode
is set to
Through mode.
Alarm Analysis
LOC indicates that the FTB-8100 Series is unable to synchronize with the
selected test clock.
