Patient seat and cinematic devices
☛
rotation of the foot
☛
angle of the leg (extension and bending movement)
Procedure for standard use
Counterclockwise rotation of knob A in fig. 6.7 releases the device for
cinematic knee examinations for sliding backwards and forwards in the
track. This enables adjustment of the distance between the foot
adjustment block and the gantry to adapt to the length of the leg. When in
the required position, this can be locked by turning the knob clockwise.
Counterclockwise rotation of knob B in fig. 6.7 releases the foot setting
lock for sliding in the track. This enables changes to the angle of the leg.
When in the required position, this can be locked by turning the knob
clockwise. A graduated scale on the track enables identification of the
position.
Slightly raise the foot setting lock, positioning the hand in the part below,
so that it is released and can rotate to the right or left to enable intra/extra
rotation movements. The foot setting lock can be set in 2 positions on
each side (spaced at regular intervals of 7.5°) to reach a maximum
rotation angle of 15°. At the end of the operation, release the foot setting
lock to secure the required angle.
W a r n i n g
The maximum load capacity of the device for cinematic knee
examinations is 28 kg. Do not exceed this limit. Overloading may
cause mechanical failure of the device, and harm to the patient and/or
operator.
The device for cinematic examinations of the knee is not designed to
accommodate the seated patient and/or operator.

Consult chapter 10 of this document for a complete description of the
