   Remove the jammed paper.

     Press down on the tear-off unit, and return the lock lever to the forward position.

    Insert the tab on the right side of the head cover into the slot, and tighten down

the head-cover screw.

    Close the roll-paper cover and turn the key to lock the cover. Close the ribbon

cover.
