4.2.12 Base Frame Removal
1. Release the carriage lock. (See Section 4.2.1.)
2. Remove the document cover. (SeeSection 4.2.2.)
3. Remove the upper cover. (See Section 4.2.3.)
4. Remove the carriage unit. (See Section 4.2.5.)
5. Remove the main circuit board. (SeeSection 4.2.6.)
6. Remove the driven pulley. (See Section 4.2.7.)
7. Remove the CR motor. (See Section 4.2.8.)
8. Remove the power supply circuit board. (See Section 4.2.10.)
9. Disconnect the power supply cable. (See Section 4.2.11.)
10. Remove the SUB_A circuit board. (See Section 4.2.9.)
11. Remove the FFC harness ferrite core.
12. Remove the three screws (CBS, M3x5), and then remove the carriage rail.
13. Lift up the front of the base frame, disengage the two hooks, and then
remove the base frame.

Attach the cable that connects the power supply circuit
board and the main circuit board, the white FFC that
connects the carriage unit and the main circuit board and
the ferrite core to the base frame with double-sided tape.
