4.2 DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY

This section describes the disassembly and removal procedures for each major component of the scanner in the form of a flow chart. Except where indicated
separately, all procedures for re-assembling the disassembled assemblies and components should be carried out by following the disassembly procedures in
reverse, and so these procedures are not given here. Refer to the exploded diagram in the Appendix for details on the relationships between the major components.
The flow chart below shows the disassembly procedures as a series of steps. When disassembling each unit, refer to the page numbers shown in the chart.
