B) TALKWIRE
Sets Talkwire and the user port connection method.
A) T/W CONNECT (F)
Talkwire enabled, user ports
are connected to the ISDN
automatically upon a
successful Talkwire session.
Connection is controlled by
the originating end only.
If the Talkwire timer expires
before a Talkwire session
has been gained, then the
call is disconnected at both
ends.
B) T/W & AUTO
CONNECT
As for T/W CONNECT but if
Talkwire is unsuccessful, the
user port is still connected
after expiry of the Talkwire
and Connect timers.
C) AUTO CONNECT
Talkwire is disabled, the user
port is automatically
connected to the ISDN after
expiry of the Connect timer.
D) T/W
MANAGEMENT
Talkwire is enabled for
management of the remote
device, the user port is not
connected.
This is effective at the
originating end only; the
answering end will not
connect if it’s setting is T/W
CONNECT.
