2.7 Physical User Interfaces
Three types of user interface are provided on the rear interface cards:
V.24
On 25-way ‘D’-type female connectors
X.21
On 15-way ‘D’-type female connectors
V.35
On 34-way MRAC female connectors
As alternative connection means are provided by changing the rear
interface cards, all four ports are always of the same type.
In all cases, all User ports operate as DCEs, and Link ports operate as
DTEs.
The SBUQLS and SBUQLB operate at the data rates shown in
Table 2
below (selectable per port):

Data rates below 64 kbit/s are rate-adapted up to 64kbit/s on the
SBUQLS/QLB, using X.21, V.35 or V.24 rear cards.
