When the modules are accessed via the Manager card, password
protection is provided by the Manager card; when accessed via Talkwire,
you will be prompted for a password (the Manager card password for the
shelf in which the interrogated unit resides) before being given access to
the unit.
Alarm messages from the cards in the shelf are routed to the alarm
and/or command ports on the Manager card.
For the SBUQLS and SBUQHS, there are two modes of aggregation.
Mode 1 uses all the ‘B’ channels for user data, but has no re-
synchronisation. Mode 3 uses an additional ‘B’ channel and will re-
synchronise should synchronisation be lost due to delay changes through
the network on some calls.
Please see the relevant section in this manual for details on the call
control features on each card.
