1. Placards that are required to be placed in view of the pilot
are:

are used on all 280FX helicopters serial number
2132 and prior.

placards shown in Figure 2-3 and Figure 2-4
are used on all 280FX helicopters serial number
2133 and subsequent. 280FX helicopters serial
number 2132 and prior may also use these
placards.
c. Smoking restrictions – (This placard is not required if
approved ashtray is installed.)

THIS HELICOPTER IS APPROVED FOR
OPERATION UNDER DAY AND NIGHT VFR NON-
ICING CONDITIONS ONLY
e. This placard is to be placed adjacent to the collective
friction device.
