Description
Description of the function for this input or measurement point name.
10 characters.
Type of control input
Only when used as a control input: When active releases the allocated control
function.
“External intermediate analysis”
: The analysis of this measurement point into min,
max. and average values does not occur in defined time cycles. Here the signals are
analysed so long as the control input is active. Once the input is no longer active the
result of the analysis becomes available (see “Analysis” in normal operation). Is useful
for example in batch operations - the min, max. and average values are available at
the end of the batch.
Hint:
“External” must be selected in the address “Signal analysis - intermediate
analysis”.
“Setup lock”
: So long as the control input is active the “set up” push button is
operational. The preset parameters cannot be displayed or changed when the control
input is open.
“Display text”
: The preset text is displayed in a text window so long as the input is
active. Both text lines are displayed in the window if both “Text, part 1” and “Text, part
2” are filled out.
Tip:
This can be used as a short process message for the front end operator.
“Display group”: The display switches to the group selected when the input is active
(signal from low to high).
“Darken display”
: So long as the input is active the display rear illumination is
switched off. All other recorder features (e.g. storage, alarm monitor etc...) remain.
“Time synchronisation”
: When the input is active (signal from low to high) the
internal second counter is reset to zero. If at this point the seconds are between 0 and
29 the minute remains unchanged. If the seconds are between 30 and 59 the minute
is increased by one.
Tip:
Use this function in combination with a master clock. All units used in this mode
run synchronous. This means that signals recorded on different units can be
compared with each other.
Valid from PC software version 1.3.00
“Display curve”
: Once this has been selected a number of measured values are
only saved when the digital input is on High.
“Signal analysis active”
: Once this has been selected the analysis
(min./max./average values/quantities/integration) is only active when the digital input
is on High.
“Alarm limit set point monitor active”
: Once this has been selected the alarm limit
set point monitor is only active when the digital input is on High.
Engineering units
Engineering unit for the counter input. e.g.. litre, m
3
, ... .
Decimal points
Number of decimal points displayed on the screen.
1 impulse =
Impulse factor = Factor by which the impulse input is multiplied to gain the correct
physical value.
Example: 1 impulse equals 5 m3 -> Enter “5".
Valid from PC software version V1.3.00
Time delay
A time delay can be set up in the function On/off events, these will then react using
the time delay when the digital input is on High.
Switched output
If the digital input is High then a relay or OC can be switched dusing this condition.
